Driven by a desire to be reborn, Fella returns to Algiers, to the Moorish villa of her childhood. The El Biar quarter, its hidden gardens behind the Porte de Sahel, Raphael's balcony where she spent late evenings looking at the panorama (over beautiful Algiers), the garden of the family home where so many little moments of pleasure were remembered.
Time seems to have stopped. The colors and smells of today are the same as they were in the past. Waiting for summer, and the blossoming orange trees have already begun to bear fruit.
Then an unexpected impulse leads Fella to the heart of a luxurious garden. Despite the intense scent of jasmine, the air was filled with sublime nuances of wild iris and magnolia flowers. Where do these flowers come from? They were blown by the wind to the tangerine trees, or maybe a gift from a dear friend? Dream or reality, some secrets must remain secrets to be engraved in the heart.
