VALERIA

VALERIA

Valeria Messalina (lat. Valeria Messalina), sometimes - Messalina (c. 17/20 - 48) - the third wife of the Roman emperor Claudius, mother of Britannicus and Claudia Octavia, an influential and power-hungry Roman woman, whose name acquired a figurative meaning due to her love affairs .

A fragrance with a powerful, sensual and seductive character. The name Messalina, thanks to ancient historians, became a household name in the description of depraved and sexually preoccupied women. Her behavior is generally described as offensive and shameful, and herself - as a cruel, stingy and stupid nymphomaniac.

The historians Cornelius Tacitus and Suetonius mention it most often in their works. Both of them write that under the fictitious name Liciska Messalina either herself owned one of the Roman brothels, or came there as a prostitute to satisfy her lust.
