FICO

Fig. A sacred tree with distant origins: a treasure that has seduced men for millennia. Several years ago, two Harvard archaeologists made a surprising discovery in Israel: at a site inhabited 11,400 years ago near Jericho, nine small fig trees were found, testifying to the ancient origins of this plant. Venerated as sacred in India, the fig tree was the protagonist of many myths in ancient Greece, often erotic in nature. It was also considered sacred by the Romans, like the olive tree and grapevine.

Publius Ovidius Naso relates that on New Year's Eve, it was customary to offer friends and relatives figs and honey as a New Year's wish. The aroma is fresh and majestic; intoxicating and enveloping with profound notes. A stylish diffuser with black reeds will fit perfectly into any interior and fill the space with the aroma of your pleasure.
